Cycle couriers

I have a complete bike that needs to be 'posted out'. Can anyone recommend a good courier please? Doesn't have to have fantastic insurance cover as the bike isn't worth a great deal. How broken down does the bike need to be ?

cheers Paul

Try to get a small bike box, maximum dimensions for parcel force is 300cm which isnt all that much. You need to remove bar and wheels to get it in a box that size and pack alongside, or post wheels seperately.

If you get a bigger box these seem to be advertising a lot for coplete bikes, might be worth giving them a ring:

I used them next day and at a great price!

x2.

They sub to ParcelFarce, but you pay a lot less than going direct. I've used them 100's of times, and only 1 issue which they paid out on no questions asked.

A couple of times they have been 1/2 day late with their next day delivery, but they pay you 50% compensation. And at only £15 next day delivery on a bike box, who can complain at that!! £7.50 to send a bike!!

Thanksfor the input chaps.

We're going to attempt an M6 handover via a third party first. If this fails I'll use the courier option.

cheers,

:D
