Custom Ho Down fork...Sold

Hey guys,

I built a custom Ho Down fork for a customer and he has since decided to have a new frame built and will not be needing the fork. I thought I would offer it up to the retro community first as it would be an excellent rigid fork for many of the Fat or vintage builds.

The details;

Custom Ho Down fork
One inch threadless steerer - 275mm long (10 3/4")
Axel to Crown - 396mm (15 5/8")
Scalloped dropouts
Canti brakes

This fork would fit any suspension corrected vintage bike (63mm suspension) of the era; roughly 92 - 97...before suspension went to 80mm.

Fork is unpainted and can be had with with one color powder for $275 or one color wet for $290.

Here's a link to my fork info... http://groovycycleworks.com/forks.aspx

I've attached a pic of the fork for sale...the build list is currently about 5 months, no waiting for this guy!

cheers,

rody

Would this change the angles on a Trimble frame 90-92. As i like the look of them.

Bump for Rody.

Amazing fork.

I have one on my Yo Eddy!

Tintin,

To determine if any geometry change would take place by installing this fork, you need to measure the axel to crown length of what is currently on the bike; the distance from the center of the front dropout to the top of the crown base plate.

With that measurement, we would be able to determine if the fork would be a good fit.

Looking over your builds, you have used a variety of different forks on your Trimbles, some shorter and some longer than the Ho Down.

My gut feeling is that this would be an excellent fit, but I would like your axel to crown off a couple of your builds to solidify it.

Jim...

Either you're a stalker or an excellent marketing guy for me  ...I'll have to put you on the payroll.

cheers,

We just read the same rags.... And I'm not usually as happy with a purchase I have been with this one.

Besides, that wasn't me in the pickup outside on Sunday.  8)

Rody. Thanks I'll get measure get back to you over the weekend. But any body want to jump in be my guest.

That's a really stunning piece of engineering design. It's quite amazing how perfectly it complements the Yo Eddy.

Thanks Anthony...even better than the looks is the performance. I've been really happy with the outcome of the design.

cheers,
