Who's fault it is is kind of irrelevant, as there was only one person who was going to get seriously hurt or worse in this situation.

As cyclists, we have a responsibility to read the traffic and act accordingly to safegaurd ourselves and others .

Too true.

It's the passive aggressive attitude of a lot of commuters on bikes that bothers me.

Regardless of whether the bus was veering to the right, the face is the traffic lights were green. The bus was no indicating so was going straight on and the truck was turning right. The cyclist had no business occupying that part of the road to start with, let alone going for that gap.
If the cyclist was turning right he should have been waiting behind the truck, if he was going straight on he should have waited behind the bus rather than pulling out and overtaking everything.

Sooner or later that cyclist is going to Darwin himself, I just hope he doesn't involve anyone else when he does. A stupid twat hipster riding a fixie.

Cyclist at fault there. Completely misjudged the movements of that bus, there was barely a gap to go through even if the bus was stationary!

Bikeyboy had a lucky escape there  but totally his own fault :?
Basically he's undertaking .
