Looking to renovate a crankset but after polishing would need the original logo engraved again either by CNC or laser-etching. Has anyone ever had something similar done or know a company that would be able to help with this?

Cheers :D

I’ve done this.
Unlikely I’ll have time though.
What cranks are they?

Hi there are Cannondale Coda cheers, I would need them done after being repolished unless this is also something you can do ?

Re:

After polishing the cranks you could apply a negative of the logo (basically the bit you would normally throw away after applying a decal) then get someone to use a light bead blast. No idea if it will work in reality, but should. I think I saw a thread on here where someone had done this on a ti frame and ti flex stem to get marin logos on them and it looked awesome.

I seem to remember a car security product that used a light acid to etch your number plate reg on to glass, maybe this could also work?

Re:

Hydroflouric acid is used to etch glass, it will also etch aluminium, it can also kill you from skin contact.
