I'm pretty sure Billy's in Cambridge have a set of these in a cabinet somewhere...
I like these,a red set will do nicely please

Here's a bigger photo of the Roox (clicky)'.

Not quite weight-weenie material though. These things are beefy. They'd probably market them as all-mountain gear today.

EDIT: maybe it's a coincidence but I've only ever seen these on Syncros Crank-o-Matics?

Oooohhh yeaa Onza Ti. Its like a sickness.

But that second set of cranks is just the ticket.
Similar receeding sized holes like the Funk dropouts.....in a lump of Ti.

Although they do look like they were in a 70's Bond movie.

I've got a set of red ones on my Trek - UN91 square taper BB for those interested.

caramba had 1 hole right thru the length of the crank arm.
titus did a machined crank that had holes, looked kinda similiar to the cast onza ti crank.

I would have thought that if anybody would have a pair of Onza Ti cranks it would be you Mr Newsboy! With your connections (friends) and money I am sure it will happen.
