Hi, I'm no expert on the numbers but I believe it was sequential up to early thirties, so its pointing to the thirties. Terry

'A' prefix on frame numbers began in 1927, but yes this appears early 1930's, 24" wheels & the lack of the hand on the chainset would indicate a child's model
