Couriers - help?!

Hi guys and gals,

I'm trying to ship a box over to the States, I've used a Fox Racing 40 fork box (98 x 27 x 14cm/6kg) ....on getting various quotes online they say it'll be just over 30-odd quid which is fine, but on inputting further details it then gets bumped to over 50 quid which is borderline ridiculous.....can anyone suggest a good courier website for me at all please?

£35ish with Parcelforce/Mailhouse via Postage Supermarket
£100 insurance covered, more insurance etc will bump that up by a few quid.

£56 by FedEx account and £78 via UPS, so not too bad a price.

All airfreight is worked on volumetric weight - if you want to try and save money, make the box smaller.

Volumetric weight based on 0.037 cbm by courier is 7.5 kg, so not much to save on actual weight. From having worked in shipping for 11 years, £50 isn't a bad price
