if I'm lucky and win the ebay auction for my daughters new bike I'll need to provide a bike box and courier as the item is pick up only, so far have found one https://www.paisleyfreight.com/ any one used them or have any more suggestions?
the bike is up in Linlithgow, West Lothian and around 360+ miles one way trip for me, so picking it is a no no

senditnow.com works out anything between 10-15 quid for a whole bike next day delivery and I've used them a few times and are a subsiduary of parcelforce..funnily enough they don't ask for sizes just weight

I did use paisley freight once..never again

cheers, the seller will post if I do the work involved in getting it to me, he wants me to get the bike box and then arrange shipping at his convenience :shock: if it wasnt due the fact that it's a nice bike and in the right colour! I'd let it go

He wants you to ship a box to him then arrange a courier back?

Have you tried asking to see if anyone in here lives that way and can collect and sort out a easier way to get it?

well he wants me to pay for and arrange a bike box and a courier! a better bike has just popped up and its closer and they will post looks like I'll need to get it reprayed to keep her happy though

so he wants you to find the box, then courier upto him, then he will box it then you have to arrange the second courier to take it away?

sounds like the seller definately is trying to put you off

I just had help from a chap from leeds[Paininthe] to do a pick up for a set of XT m730/732 wheels.Without help i'd have been stuffed

so today was a good day no box or courier needed, just half a tank of gas and one happy daughter later 49 miles on the clock one very careful owner, full service history and owners manual in it's original bag it's in mint condition, not a ounce of dirt on it

the only problem now is that I'm the only one in the house without a new bike the mrs says I can have one if! if I too can find one at the same price or lower ...not a chance
