+ made in the US by a company that actually gives a damn about its workforce' welfare - insurance, pensions, environmental sensitivity etc
..Far Eastern manufacture is a fraction of the cost, -much more so than most people realise.

Wonder why their economy is so large? Sod all in the way of human rights and our government that says its all for it turns the blind eye
If we stopped importing so much from them and chose somewhere else like Mexico then im betting the Chinese government would stamp out the practise.

I've seen elsewhere about a fake Pinarello not sure if someone has just made a replica or are the chinese also punting out copies?

I know that companies that make these frames for a manufacturer are contracted to make a certain amount and are allowed to sell it under their own brand name or no name at all.
The moulds can make a certain amount before tolerances begin to slip.Its at that point the bike company stops using it and uses a fresh mould.The old moulds are then sold or used by the company to release unbranded to the market.
No different just a slight difference in the tolerances.Or so im led to believe

they also add a small amount of fibreglass instead of carbon matting instead of skimping they just replace carbon for glass the epoxy is probably the same quality lesser quality would be too risky even by Chinese standards :shock: most copied frames would be ok for joe public who could probably never tell the differnce in ride quality iv'e ridden loads of top frames and i doubt i could tell the difference if they were both painted the same on ride feel
