Cook Bros E2 cranks???

I have a black pair of Cook Bros cranks, which I assumed were E cranks. Just checked them against another pair of E cranks and the black ones are much wider/thicker.

Any idea what model they could be? I think they are from around 1995.

Ah, thought F's were newer than '95. My memory is shocking though

So what's the crack with F cranks? What year were they introduced? And why did they move away from the beautiful CBRs!

I believe F stands for Forged, meaning they're supposed to be stronger! uncertain on the shape, adaptation of the E cranks maybe? elite may know more. I'd given up on cooks cranks by the time the F cranks had come out!

Don't dis' the F crank... I've been using the same one on my daily rider for 10 years now, top bit of kit
