How come it's got a top tube in some of the photos and not in the indoor one? Modification or did you have more than one bike?

Well spotted @Jonny69! The step-through frame (Douze call it the "Traveller") broke after 2 years of heavy use. The seat tube cracked completely across where it meets the tube where the BB is mounted. We bought this style as it was easier to get on/off, but obviously no way as rigid as the one with the top tube (Douze call it the "Messenger"). The Messenger version has lasted over 4 years and still going strong - a lot less flexible than the step through. Very clever frame design (breaks-down and you can by shorter/longer front ends) along with cable steering. It's like a French Bullitt.

Yep was a clean break once it was wrestled into the back of the car to take back to the shop! Was exchanged under warranty with the new one.
