A lovely job al, is that a tourney rear mech?.

I actually think the colours look really good. Whats the chain guard for, do you really need one of thoose now?.

Like the saddle and grips, did you re-cover them yourself?.

:D

It is a tourney rear mech fella... seen it on a few hybrid bikes in the shops and had one lying around so tried it, and have to say it works well if a bit pug ugly!

colour is just a standard RAL I chose at my local powdercoaters (Spray Quick in Bredbury), was looking for something a touch more green but then I saw this... kinda Bianchi-esque?

Chainguard (not bashguard!) is OE to the chainset, it smartens it up IMO, it looks really unfinished without it... and keeps your keks safe eh? I did envisage the bike as 100% street use after all, so why not make it baggy trews / slacks-proof? Also, road use for me means using up that hybrid chainset and the MRX shifters... no good on an MTB!

Yeah, I did the saddle & grips myself, the leather was from an old sofa!

How did you do the grips? What's under the leather?
I really like when someone does things by hisself!

Cheers,

Adam

Looks really minty and cool! Nice job with the leather, too.

Get some mudguards - save you turning up with wet socks and a stripe up your back! 8)
