From what my daughter told me, accommodation has been the one let down; not the lack of it, but the prices.
She stayed in a really nice B&B which was sensibly priced, but they saw prices in the region of £400 per night at a Travel Lodge and in excess of £1000 at other hotels that would be lucky to get £50 per night in normal circumstances.
I'm all for supply and demand and a healthy profit, but at what point does it become gouging / profiteering.
