Come on city!....

That red was more about the card he should have given Lampard the week before in my opinion, but it was 2 footed and that always runs the risk of getting punished.
Nani didn't even flinch at it, so it can't have been that bad

The worrying thing for me about United was that city looked like scoring every time they went forward (even with 10 men!) but we struggled to create once the 2nd city goal went in.
As good as it is to see Scholsey playing again, it doesn't say much for the strength in depth.
If I was Pogba I'd be wondering where about's in the pecking order I am if a 37 year old retiree who hasn't played for months is getting a game.
And as for Ferdinand

Agree :)

If the ref hadn't given red then the TV pundits would be shouting that the rule is red for a 2 footed tackle and no consistency in the game

The rules is the rules other wise lets just have no rules and see how every body likes it???

I doubt any of the pundits on the day would be calling the oracle.....after listening to them speak, perhaps a radio journalist might if he's got a phone-in planned.

The rules ain't the rules when Sir Ryan tackles two-footed from behind taking the player and not striking the ball...thats simply a straight intentional foul, much like waving on any off-ball strike to a players face..ain't in any rule book, more especially when the face strikers checked the opponents flight path (ball goalside) to ensure a subtle meet..
