Columbus steel experts: Nivacrom / Nivracom?

I doubt very much it would have a Genius sticker on it and not be so, it is certainly a lovely frame
You just made me feel better!
Love the frame but the spelling mistake threw me and I started pixel peeping at differences. The link I just gave 95 frame is similar - not identical as it’s lugged. And mine isn’t. Perhaps made in the year Bianchi transitioned from Columbus Genius to Dedaccia Zero ?

Probably, all these cycle companies do weird things that keep enthusiasts like us on our toes, I know back in about 98' my mate bought a GT Backwoods that had a 6061 alloy frame the same as a Zaskar, they were supposed to be 7075 frames... Go figure as the Americans say.

Riddle solved
Thanks retrobike as back in 2014 a Hungarian forum member made this post

As you can see it’s the same frame with the same Serial number.
so it is a repaint of an original Nth! And this explains the spelling mistake -

now whether it’s Genius or not remains to be answered BUT only their Reparto Corse frames featured Bianchi cast into the bb shell and such lovely welds.

After some digging it seems it is a Columbus frame in either Genius or Columbus EL Nivacrom.
I’m intrigued!
