Colnago Tecnos 56cm Art Decor 1997

Merrick

Retro Newbie
I'm looking to sell my bike and need a guide price if anyone can help please.

I bought it in 2006 from the man who built it back in 1997. Putting it together from all his favourite parts at that time, hence the assortment of components!!

At that time it had only done about 400 miles. I've done about another 300 miles. It has been in one road race and one triathlon with a bit of road training but it's only been used perhaps once a year since 2006. I'm selling it due to lack of use. It's been wrapped up in blankets in the garage. It's in great condition.

Frame 56cm

Dura-Ace brakes callipers & seat post
Shimano Ultegra flight deck

I would be interested in your thoughts, and look forward to your response.

Re:

Hi there,
Do you have any further pictures to show the condition as the posted picture is not of a high enough definition to see the condition.

Re: Colnago Tecnos 56cm Art Decor 1997 For Sale

Firstly, welcome to the forum and thanks for showing us such a great bike; you'll definitely find lots of interest here for it when you decide on a suitable price. However, this section is for items for sale that already have a price and people tend to get a little annoyed because there is a forum section for 'what's it worth' which should be used for such discussions.

As well as asking the mods to transfer the post there, you can also search ebay "sold" items for similar items and there should be a fair few colnagos on there to gauge what an ebay sale might get you. Personally, I've never seen too many Colnagos sell for big money on retro bike as people here tend to be looking for a project or a bargain. So my advice is that if you're looking for top money go to ebay but beware of all that goes with it - such as people bidding and not paying and the hassle of people returning things saying its not been listed correctly.

Whatever you decide to do, again welcome to the forum!

Moved into the general section until its priced for sale.
If you decide on a price let me know and I can move it back to the for sale section.

Jamie
