These were designed for canti but have 2 positions for the cable, one giving it a bit longer pull. I have never tried them with v-brakes. I use them for my avid tri-align canti brakes and that works perfectly.

I know Real made special v-brake levers too, not as nice as (my opinion) these but those were specific V-brake design:

Maybe someone elso knows if the red ones for sal can do v-brakes?

Both versions (the black ones were the X levers, and are the superior ones IMO) are designed to allow you to run either V or canti brakes, depending on which hole you put the cable head into.
