Saddle i got on ebay, clicks when i move around on it,its quite comfy so i dont want to lose it
Its a Selle italia tri-matic ,personally i hate clicky saddles as it makes it harder to identify other more important noises ,in drivetrain ,clamps, etc
Any way of fettling it to get rid of the noise or dulling the sound?

One trick I've heard of is to wrap the rails in clingfilm, then re-fix it in the seatpost. When you are finished the surplus clingfilm can be ripped off.

While you are at it, give the seatpost a grease, just in case.

Ill give that a go ,but i think the noise is coming from where the rails attach to the saddle body
I was thinking of dribbling some thinned down epoxy into those mounts

Not sure on the Trimatic but the Selle Italia Turbomatic had the saddle rails on two small elastomer bumpers at the rear of the saddle - if it's the same on the Trimatic maybe it is this arrangement that is making the 'click'?

On the other hand I could be talking a load of guff

find out which rail is loose, weight the rail into the hull of the saddle (as if you're sitting on it) then locktite it

Sometimes dribbling a little bit of oil on the rails where they meet the top at each end and letting it infuse into the junction of top-rails will work.

Its the same arrangment with the elastomers at the rear ,though ,im starting to think its the front mount thats clicking
i Dont fancy using oil,if it doesnt cure the noise ,id be unable to then use a thinned epoxy
