not sure i want to do this but ive just bought a complete bike so i geuss i should make some space.
i have the following parts for sale/swop:
1 1/8th gold chris king no-threadset, gold,immaculate with a hope head doctor in matching gold...i would like to swop this for another king in a diff colour.
shimano deore xt groupset:
circa 1997, all in vgc. parts as follows:
brake levers in vgc £45 the pair
shifters in vgc 8speed: £55 the pair
v-brakes: come with 1 set of nearly new ceramic pads,1x brand new set of ceramic pads and 1x pair of red fibrax pads, £45 the lot
rear mech, vgc with sealed bearing anno red jockey wheels £35
2x front mech's, both vgc one tp one bp, will check sizing £25 each.
xt crank. five bolt pattern, havent seen another xt crank from this age with the 5 bolt centre, usually are all 4 bolt. comes with 1x 22t anno red middleburn ring, 1x 42t anno red middleburn ring, 1x standard shimano 32t ring and 1x 42t fsa sidewinder/powerpro ring. all in vgc. non-drive side taper has some wear but never caused a problem when fitted to the bike. all with brand new m-tech bolts which cost a small fortune! £55 the lot.
kore stem. as new in original red, still has price tag sticker on bottom. £15
club roost go-fast bars with brace, faded anno red but still in vgc, about as retro as riser bars get £8.50
wheels:
ive got quite a collection of wheels/rims so will add more as i find them.
1st set:
mavic d521 silver's in vvgc. silver hope big-un front hub, rear bulb/sport hub in black. both wheels straight as a die and virtually bombproff. can come with kore titanium skewers at extra cost. would like £95 for the pair with an xt 8 speed cassette.
2nd set:
mavic 121 cd/ceramic rims laced to v rare goldtec titanium sam hubs front and rear, both anno red, slightly faded and some wear to brake surfaces due to age, however plenty of life left. both wheels straight and both hubs smooth as a babys bum. rear hub does not hav a free hub body howevr this is available direct from goldtec along with pawls and springs etc. for the right price i can also include a complete nos rear titanium sam hub in blue anno.
£115 for the pair of 121's on goldtec's.
mavic 121 ceramic rim, will check spoke holes. used but still in vgc. £25
2x nos mavic 36h d521 ceramic rims, £55 each.
hope green anno front 36h hub, new bearings. £35
marzocchi z1 x-fly forks 2001 model, magnesium arch. freshly serviced before i bought them just over a year ago, new steerer tube (roughly 200-220ml in length) couple of cosmetic marks consistant with age but still a great fork. £70
am sure ive missed a whole host of parts which i will add later, pics and full specs will be added later also.
i appreciate i may be well out with some of the pricing, however feel free to make an offer/ advise if im off the mark. however please appreciate some of these parts are quite rare and not easy to get hold of in this condition.
am open to some swops so hit me with what you have got.
all prices are plus p&p tho with the wheels i would prefer collection or can meet withion reason. all parts located in lee on solent/hampshire.
