Hi, I have to withdraw my interest in the 853. I cant really get my mind working on the paint work.... and it is too expensive in order just to get it and have it resprayed. I wont give you an offer as I think you could properly do better to sell it to someone why would love the paintwork.... But if you consider a serious reduction at some point just let me know.

This is probably one of the most sought after paint finishes of the 90's - the Rabobank Colnago C40 colour scheme. Cougar have finished it very sympathetically and IMO its one of the best paint finishes I've seen on a British built bike.

A mid ranging 853 frame will cost £800-1000 new, plus forks. So I think the price is very fair for what is an immaculately maintained frame.

Hi, yes I know that many people are really stoked by the Rabobank paint job... But its not so much to my taste. Im more into more plain colored bikes i think-.-.. a bit boring I recon

Xmas bump. Probably a lighter frame than thew Alves 853 on Ebay at the moment, and without the added complication of a fragile seat post binder!

Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat! Oh no, its just cyclists getting fat, time to start thinking about a new frame for next season Pictures of Track frame added. 58cm, square. Would make a very classy British single speed.
