Retro Newbie
This is my recently purchased Claud Butler Professional.
Yes it does have a frame number, unlike another that I have seen on the site. Bizarrely it appears on a decal at the bottom of the down tube.
Not surprising then that they can be lost, as is the case with the main
"CLAUD BUTLER" decal which are long gone. Still has the "Star Trek" badge on the head tube. Nice light bike (Reynolds 853) that I am in the process of lightly renovating. Only poor part is the stem that is pitted with what looks like rust. I thought alloy couldn't rust?
I am new, photo to follow later when I have found out how to do it!
