Lazy islander
Retro Newbie
Good day folks,
New joiner and lapsed rider here..
Having replied to a wanted advert for a used mountain bike I dragged my trusty old steed out of the back of our garage and pumped the tyres up.
The bikes too big for the interested party it turns out but it did make me start looking around online to see roughly what it's value might be.
Part of that led me to an article on Claud Butler Cape Wrath that had been put together on this very forum.
I'm now puzzled as to the origins of what I purchased as a brand new bike in 1995 (I think..)
I'm either short sighted (60 now and glasses for reading
) or missed something as none of the bikes listed in the article are the same specification as mine.
Did the shop I bought it from sticker it up to look like something else?
As new it has a 26" alloy frame in lacquer only. Shimano Deore LX gears and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes and RST Delta Comp forks and Airline alloy rims.
Can anyone confirm what I have please..?
Cheers!
