BITMAP BROTHERS

Zx81, c64 then amiga 1200. Manic miner, spy hunter spring to mind. Some of them are coming back for iPhones and smart phones. I've got pinball fantasies and sonic for my iphone

we have a commadore 64 in the garage along with a nintendo 64... my first games were on the atari 2600, then the bbc micro... ah the good old days...

ZX81 and I built it, the DIY option, games, well, can't quite remember apart from typing pages of basic only to find the game didn't work at the end of it.

Slightly OT but whatever happened to virtual reality? I thought by now we'd all have shrivelled bodies and living in the digital realm :o

We had a Dragon32 so unless I went to friends the best I could muster was Frogger or Horace goes skiing. Hey ho.

On a happier note reckon I might have to get the Dreamcast out the loft soon.

Did you know the Dreamcast still has such a massive following in Japan they still produce games for it, we went into a retro gaming shop ages ago and super geek gave us a complete rundown. The dreamcast was the first brand new console I brought with games package for about £500 they seemed to support it with about 7 games then it died a cold death being blown away with the new ps consoles etc. Think I sold it for about £50 two years later.

Was always a ZX family with the powerful 16k ha,ha

Jetpac
Ground attack
Football manager
Booty
Daily thompson games (remember them!!)

anyone remember GODS on the amiga and later on the snes and i thing megadrive

top music too

Yes!!! remind me, same programmers as Chaos Engine, Speedball etc who were they again?

They also did Shadow of the Beast. Best graphics on the Amiga and were amazing for the time 8) Think they were called something like Phygnosis :?

Started on the Amstrad 464 with gems such as Rolland on the Ropes, Dizzy and A Scout Steps Out. Moved on to Amiga and remember James Pond, all the £4.99 Codemasters games, Speedball 2, Flood etc. :D

My nephew got me a Megadrive last christmas with Sensi Soccer, Mega-lo-Mania, Streets of Rage 2, Sonic, and loads more!

Bit random off topic too but what was the kids game show that one round used to be a game , normally paperboy or daily thompson event? That was early doors
