Top right hand corner just above your first post you should see two boxes, one says "Watch" and the other has three dots and a downward arrow.
Click on the three dots box and this should open a "More Options" dropdown menu to either "Edit thread" or "Create Poll".
Click on "Edit Thread".
That should bring up another box where it will say Edit Thread and giving the Title of your thread and next to that will be a dropdown menu where it says "For Sale".
Click on that dropdown menu and that's where you can edit the thread to "Sold"

@rikster Thank you for the instructions but I don't see the three dots. I have an "Unwatch" box (because, obviously, I'm watching it) and that's it. Note that I tried it on both a laptop and an iPhone.

That's odd. My sale threads have the three dots box next to the Watch box to edit the threads, so maybe it's to do with being a newer member to the forum?

Maybe that's it. In any case, hopefully anyone who's interested will ready through the thread and see that I was trying to mark it as sold.

The for sale sign in the title (when you edit your first post) is a drop down menu.
It'll have multiple options including sold, then save.

My problem is that I can't seem to be able to edit the first post. I only have the "Unwatch" box - the three dots with an arrow.
