Chrome Vintage Carlton

Hello! I don't know much about bikes but I love mine however it is killing my knees and i need to sell it but want to sell it properly. It is a chrome vintage carlton, serial number starts with an X... but that is all I know about it. Wonder if anyone can help me find out what it is, what era and how I should sell it. Thanks!

Frame is an early Carlton Cobra (late 1960's) IMHO although the forks are more modern,

Would have looked a little like this.....
