Hello everyone,
I am looking for a 27.2mm seat post to match a chrome plated Tioga T-Bone stem and handlebar. They will be assembled on a frame built with Tange Prestige tubing, so I'd like to continue with the same super-steel theme for the seat post, avoiding those with aluminum or carbon fiber shafts.
I need a post at least 300mm long, and VVG or better condition. Posts with offset are preferable for this build. Period-correctness would be nice, but is not critical.

Here are a list of possible posts which I feel tick most of the boxes, but feel free to suggest other options I may have overlooked. Period-correctness would be nice, but is not critical.

Shimano Deore XT, SP-M730, silver finish option
Tioga Prestige, chrome finish
Tange T-3310, chrome finish
Tioga T-Bone/Avenger, chrome finish
Tange T-3320, chrome finish

Thanks for your time and attention. I hope we can help each other out!

Cheers,
The Kid

Re:

Instead of finding and buying one, I polished a tired-looking black SP-M730 which I already owned. Done, dusted and positively chuffed with the results!

Re:

Thanks!
No special technique, just household metal polish, an old sock and some masking tape to protect the black head.
I believe that, much like the blades of Tange Switchblades forks, these Shimano seat posts were chromed before the black finish was applied, which has a whole lot more to do with the result than my efforts!
Cheers,
