I am attending an event tomorrow at Oliver’s Mount to commemorate one of my heroes, the late great Barry Sheene. As the weather is set to inclement in parts, I have to chose suitable attire and protection. I shall be arriving via motorcycle so will be adorned with the latest breathable fabrics rather than my usual tweed ensemble. But which item to accompany, given the predicted precipitation?

I fear the centre item may cause swooning for those of a delicate and vintage disposition, despite it being my preferred option. IMG_8356.webp

I would go for the middle option. Seat and umbrella in one 👍. I love watching Olivers Mount vids and one day i really must attend one. This sidecar outfit getting wrestled around is a good one

I went with the middle option. It remained unfurled but was very supportive. We left a little early, racing the storm north, our steeds carrying us home just ahead of ever darkening skies across the moors via Blakey Ridge.
