Does any one else find it difficult deciding which bike to take out with them.

Half the time i think i just choose based on easiest to get too (usually which ever one ive left in the boot of the car).

Then I seem to get stuck in a track of just using the same bike until I make a concious decision to get some use out of one of the others.

Today i took out my modern bike (2006 KHS alite team) which although kitted out on a budget using some less than slick parts, im really enjoying at the moment. My 98 Orange O2 hasnt been out for a month now, and my old 94 marin hasnt seen daylight in the last year. (hung up in a cupboard)

Ive come to the conclusion that the reason my 2 main bikes dont get equal share in ride time is down to the fact that they both feel similar or atleast dont feel different enough, both are Aluminium hardtails both around 100mm upfront travel and both great fun, but not different enough to make a criteria based choice between which one to take out.

Perhaps i need a full suspension rig to add some variation.

At the moment i always use the modern specialized for my club rides, the Kona singlespeed for putting in the miles on the cycletrack, havnt got any others finished yet but ill be faced with the same decisions soon. :?

easy at the mo. Take out the 'new' Trimble. But then it will be in a rotation :D
