Anyone on here has any experience when it comes to importing goods from china ?

looking at toys , packed in 5 largish boxes .

Never anything that large.. but I've dealt with manufacturers and wholesalers in the Far East since before the turn of the century... up until about a year ago.

I doubt it will work for the whole shipment , hopefully the samples should be ok .

if the postal addy is a buisness then you will get vat ect...i get stuff from china all the time and it never seems to be a problem ish...the occasional ebay purchase does get lost but i never have a prob getting it sorted tho..

it is a home adress but the shipment will be above 200kg so will have to go by boat to london .

While I have ordered in the hundreds of £'s, the seller has always done low value gift and there's never been a problem - but the packages were small.. I don't think there's anything I could add that would be any use considering the size and weight of this shipment though..

Once had someone send me a coupla hundred quids worth of bike carbs from the US, the correct value was quoted for customs but he'd labelled them as used parts which apparently doesn't attract import duty..
