I went to deliver a course today and look what they showed me...




Mostly rubbish as you would imagine, but I spotted a mint condition Apollo Jalepeno, a couple of Specialized Rockhoppers and something with no name that I could find, it had a Girvin flex stem,


Full XC pro group set






I don't know what it was , but it was seriously light, sub 20lbs territory.

Apologies for the rubbish pics, if I get to buy it I'll post some better pictures. I should know more on Monday.

Looks like prep for a police auction to me. Up here anything that's not utter shite goes for similar money as it would on eBay or more.

It's at a local council depot, apparently destined for a bike recycling program.

I spoke to the organisation recycling them this afternoon and they insist every bike is 'prepped' for sale and is sold with a six month warranty. Laudable, but not what I was hoping for. :cry:
