Well I put a cheeky bid on this frame and won it for $20nzd. It has had a disc brake conversion to the rear end by a well known NZ frame builder and powder coated. Reason I got this is at the moment I am doing alot of wet/muddy rides and the poor Apex is sufferring. So I'm going to build this up cheap with discs, full length outter cables etc to help over winter.
Only thing is I have no idea what sort of frame it is. i think the most noticable points on the frame are the seatpost size at 26.8, the seat tube tapers nearer the top and the dropouts have a noticable bend in them. Anyone with any idea's?
Now just to borrow the parts from one of my other bikes :D

Seat of the pants i'm going for a '94 Avanti Hammer

Wishbone rear end limits the options some what.

Yeah I was thinking it was an early avanti... It's not the lightest frame in the world but it feels pretty solid :D
