Is this worth a punt?? Looks pretty wrecked. What's with the paint? Doesn't look original but any idea what it will have started life as?

Not sure whats going on with that paint job, definately a respray though! The forks are RS1's think they were the first rockshox product.

looks like the top tube Rascal sticker is still original but the downtube Klein sticker certainly is not. might have been Gator once plus rattle can overspray? looks like it is a Top Gun frame. only those (and the Mountain Kleins and some early Pinnacles) had that down tube/head tube gusset. in that case the serial number would start with TG.
fork is indeed an RS-1.
i would be surprised if it gets a bid...

I kinda thought the same! Just get the bearings running smooth, and use it as a tank to get to work on! And it looks so bad that nobody would think twice about nicking it!

He'll post to the UK for $189, but then you've still got stupid import duty. I was/am still tempted though!

Someone should buy it and love it, it is a Klein FFS.
