I'm after a bike for commuting duties and also maybe a bit of off road adventure riding. Any sort of 56cm steel frame that has canti brake mounts (and ideally a rack) would be fine. Condition is unimportant - dented, slightly misaligned etc as long as the seatpost/BB is not seized and it's ridable. My university commute now involves hills so it would be sensible to have a bike with gears.
Budget is pretty minimal (up to £150 but ideally as cheap as possible as it has to live outside and be locked up in high-theft areas)
