give them IRC to setup.

Feel free to set something people can use up,

what does anyone else use.
We locally now use WhatsApp, preferred FB messenger and Hangouts but WhatsApp has taken over due to ease.
not that you can follow conversations after a while.

I til all the cool people moved to ICQ and MSN Messenger.

All of which have morphed into what we have now, where they are magically adding all the features people had 15/20 years ago in chat in a pretty similar interface.
