I have made a couple of minor marks in assembling it so its probably not going to be that hardy long term.

how long is the head tube?
what is the distance between the rear dropouts?
and lastly, I wasn't sure what you meant about the paint, does it chip easily?

Hi Ian,
The head tube is 140 mm. 5.5 inches
the rear drop otu take a standard hub so 135mm
The paint i did at hoem with a comopressor, primer, base and colour then a clear coat. so it nto as hard and a stove enamle job from argos. so wanted to make you awar that althoguh it looks like a pro job it wont have the same jurability. you can see where the front mech has marked it and where i scratched it when i drop an allen key. You coudl always put an additional coat of clear on it if you were concered.
