Overbury's were (actually are) our very own (if you live in Somerset rather than Sommerville) FAT City in some mild mild west ways. That is a tremendous machine and recall the same MBUK review - ironically I chose the Saracen Trekker from in the same review instead...happy trails now!

Yo Barn!...brilliant thread...will be back on t'hill soon I think Wookey Holes' finest framebuilders should club togther and save this frame for Somersetville M.S... then ride laps at next years Clic24

You may have a point there, I never noticed it, but that may be an indication of my cavalier attitude! I did have a prang, years back; an inadvisable leap of a ditch, which resulted in a rebuilt front wheel. Have a look at the new photos, and make up your own mind. I measured the wheelbase (from axle centres), it is 1038mm; how does that compare with your Pioneer?

Just measured mine, which is also 19",with 21" top tube, and wheel centre to centre came out at 1050mm.
Yours may well have a slightly bent fork, but hopefully no further damage :)
To show my confidence, my bids in too :D

Best of luck with this. Hopefully you can raise a decent amount for a very worthy charity!
