Chainwhips and screw on blocks

Am I right in thinking you need 2 chainwhips to take a screw on block off?

you need a freewheel remover,same idea as a cassette remover,2 chainwhips will just remove the sprockets from the freewheel mechanism,ie half the freewheel.

For a Pace hub so I assume I'll need an old school freewheel remover.

1. Place freewheel remover in a vice. Clamp the bugger down, hard.
2. Slide freewheel onto tool (madam!)
3. Twist wheel. Hard. It will come undone.

Simples.

Agree with all that, always seemed the best way of doing it (freehub tool in a vice, wheel on top, turn the rim) but don't you still need a chain-whip on the cassette?

I think you need two chainwhips for the suntour cassettes that have one of the sprockets as a lock-ring.
