Chain rubbing on outer ring puzzle

Is this a Torus? It the BB shell threaded the correct way or does the BB fit backwards?

I think I'd fix this by using one of the external BB spacer rings on the driveside of the BB to move the chainset out by 2.5mm.

Also, is the spider fitted properly? I had one once that had some paint on the back and it caused the ring to noticeably be out of line.

Bb is fitted the right way round as far as I'm aware and the spider is fine. There is a visible difference in spacing between granny-middle and middle-outer so think spacers are the way forward.

Thanks for the input though.

Spacing will be fine, unless the granny is on wrong.
7.6mm s-m 7.3mm m-t or there about.. Will check as it's on some ring instructions I have.
It's just going to be chain line slightly out, happened since bird. My M900 would pick up on the 'teeth' every now and again.
Personally I would try the large ring out if you'd not shifting the bottom bracket.
Have you measured chainline?
Probably be 50mm you're aiming at.

This their standard rings on their crank arms. Have you emailed them for ideas?

Could just be you're further on the taper than expected. RaceFace Taperlites seem to do this over where a Shimano would. No idea about Reals still.
Not got another to try it with ?
