Chain Recomendations For XTR 9 Speed

Hi,

I was hoping for some chain recomendations for XTR 9 speed (M970).

Was thinking of the KMC X9 SL ?

Any comments on this or other chains I should be looking at ?

I'd go for a kmc. I.ve lost count of the number of shimano and sram 9 speed chains i.ve snapped in the last couple of years

I have the KMC X9-93 (though silver-silver link like what would be a X9-99 if they made one)

Didn't need the weight drop and extra places to store mud or price that the X9-L or X9-SL has

but hell you top end,
so it has to be Rohloff SLT-99

KMC to suit your budget, have used the cheapest to the SL9, all work well

I much prefer KMC to Shimano, even though KMC make Shimano chains.

Used to run Sram, but KMC are cheaper.

I had initially dissmissed them as I had only heard bad things about shimano chains. It would semm after reading up on the net though that the xtr chain seems to get rated quite highly, and there are some good prices around at the moment hhhmmmm ....
