As others have said, going for track events at the Olympics seems like something of a cop out.

I'd be surprised if Cav even gets the place ahead of Clancy. Anyhow, while Lefevere waits until Gaviria wins another omnium title in Rio, reports today suggest Etixx already have another handy replacement for Cav:
