Cats

I don't understand how people can just leave animals behind when moving etc. My Cats are part of the home/family and they'll go anywhere I move.

That is a lovely animal, nice to hear she's going to get a good home :D

Last time we moved, the cats were a major consideration ie the house not to be too close to a main road. One of them still got hit by a car, but fortunately survived after hiding, terrified, in some woods for 2 days!
Unfortunately the road, despite having a 30 limit, seems to invite kn**heads to drive at outrageous speeds for some reason.

Nice

One of mine is, well was a bit of a bruiser like this. While we were away he got the kitten who lived over the road. Beating up someone younger might seem a bit cowardly, but the people also had two doge. So got in and out past the odgs without getting a scratch. his application to hte SAS was rejected tho.

Whoever said cats were clean animals, if so, my cat scotches that idea, the smelly monster, all I can smell is cat and it's stuff, it's stuff being it's stinking food, felix chicken pouches honk in a big way. But I suppose the smell is different from mine, thus indicating, I am cleaner than my cat.

Get the cat on dry food thus not food stink, if the cat doesn't like it, tough, it does not have opposable thumbs so you control its diet regardless of its opinion. Jog on Kitty

I feed mine with the Whiskas dry food which seems to have kept them healthy and their coats shiny.

My cats have got used to picking out the nice yellow pieces though as they're the bits that have the wet food inside. Crafty little bu**ers!

Yeah, the smelly monster just licks the jelly off the crap in the pouch and leaves the rest to stink. She has dried biscuits too, but when I try to wean her off the smelly crap, she just gives me hell with her noise and if I ignore that, she just gets nasty and starts altering her toilet procedure. Me and my cat have a love/hate relationship, although I am soft with the cat most times, today she has pollack I caught yesterday, though I must cook it first, she won't eat it raw.

An old classic cat trick which also often happens with tinned food. Another one is the cat getting fed up of Brand A food only for the gullible owner to try Brand B as an alternative. This works OK for a week or two, until the cat gets fed up with that food too. But then put Brand A back in the cat's bowl and suddenly it's the best thing since sliced bread (speaking from personal cat experience here). Talk about a no-win - for the owner, anyway - situation....

P.S. Is it just me or do any other cat/dog owners think that certain brands of canned refried beans resemble petfood? ;)

I love cats me!

I'm looking after a neighbours assortment of cats at the moment. The Maine coon (Cleo) has just curled out a beauty in the middle of their bed.
