Bit of a long shot this one, but hoping it might hit somebody's nostalgia bone.

I had this from new as a kid. Large frame.

The right hand mountain lx shifter broke so I replaced with a Deore. Replaced the stem with a Girvin flexstem - think I have the original somewhere. Replaced the luxurious Carrera saddle with something a bit lower profile

Price wise, not sure. I need to make space so I'm reluctantly letting go. £60? Make offers!

I'm in Newton-le-Willows, near Warrington.

I think that's a lovely bike, reminds me of a racer I had, I'd usually be up for this but I've no need, but I'm sure someone will. Lovely colour way. Glws.

I think @Guinessisgoodforyou was thinking about a nice long romantic drive with @Mrs GIGFY to see some historical sights around Warrington and then he would act all shocked when he "stumbles" across this bike appear on his smart phone and says to @Mrs GIGFY it was just meant to be!

Ohhh, he could visit the stocks outside St Peters, the first rail viaduct, mucky mountain, vulcan village and bits of the first canal in the UK.

He couldn't visit the monument to the first railway fatality. Its on network rail land just after Newton le willows train station, you can't get to it.

In a non historic related site, he could go to the head office of Vimto too.
