CARBON SPIN WHEELS

nice work guys...i loved my Spins but the alloy rims tended to wear down pretty fast and need replacing, then of course Spin stopped making these wheels in and around the mid to late 90's and getting any kind of service became a problem :S

Spins do still exist, but only in their 559/26" wheelchair form, known as X-Core wheels. Definitely the same product.
I don't know if the current manufacturers are the same company as in the 90s, or whether they bought the moulds and technology, so they might not support old stuff, but it's worth a punt.
The rims and hub fittings are certainly the same, so they might be able to refurb old wheels.

Hi to all! I'm new on here but was looking for some help!

I have decided to re-build my Pace RC200 to it's original state when I rode it in the 90's. I have got out of storage(my garage) the Spin carbon wheels I had on it. At this point I then remembered why I took them off! The rear wheel no freehub body and looks as though its broke around the edges? have a look at the pictures I've attached. Can anyone tell me if this can be fixed? is it just missing parts? if so, has anyone got any spares or can I just get shimano parts etc? Someone please help!!

Believe the original hubs were built and supplied to SPiN by Hadley. Have experienced this before myself and used the guts/freehub body from an hold Hadley hub to fix it and it's still going strong today.
