Don't know if it's any help but I was looking to make my prophet a 29r with a 140 max lefty....

Wasn't the clearance needed for the bigger wheel

Could be very interested in this for my kona build though...

Think you just need to add internal shims to reduce travel

Strange.
Spoke to a guy who is supposed to be an "expert" on them down in Devon.
Was him who said it couldn't be done.
I guess it may depend on what year/fork etc.

Just spoke to Tony from Thumbprint & he's currently running the same fork on his 29'er apparently you just add a couple of shims within the fork leg to reduce the travel.

Well Tony is the Expert, give him a call at thumbprint tuning.

Sorry just reread this & yes the max fork has a spring not an air cartridge like this one.
So not adjustable
