help! cant remember who the wife is insured with!

my mum paid for the policy on her card - she has shredded the statements but dont want to hassle her anyway.

the wife cant find any documents

no email confirmations

what can we do. cant remember the renewall date either. its definately insured as it comes up on the mid website

Your mum can ask her card issuer for a reprint of the statements. You could ring up some of the companies its most likely to be with, they may be able to see who it is currently with, and certainly can see the insurance expiry date, especially if it's your wife making the call and asking for a renewal quote.

Doesn't the MID give any info?? Dunno how that works tbh...

Around renewal time, you should get email/snail mail with your renewal quote.. mine normally comes in about a month before and about £200 more :?

I asked a friend who works for an insurance co, they can get the vehicle details off their computer, but not the insurer.
The police may be able to find out via their system - do we have any friendly cops on here?

They will send you a letter near the time because they will like you to renew
