I loved my S reg 406 estate, it really handled and had loads of space. I would gladly revisit that era of Pug.

Very pretty body, all mod cons, decent engine, great handling...what's not to like ;-)

I had a yr 2000 306 XSi 2.0, kept it for 4 years or so. Really nice to drive, handle well and surprisingly comfortable. However they are definitely built down to a price. At 7 years old the radiator was shot through with rust (steel fins), likewise the aircon system was a complete write-off with corroded pipework etc. Around the doors (3dr) the rubbing of the seals had worn through the paint.

Only buy a very well-cared-for example.

My dad had a 300d, it did 250k and the only thing wrong with when he sold it was a spot of the size of a little finger nail on one the arches. Ridiculously well built!
