Cantilever brake levers and cable discs ???? Sorted thanks

Avid BB7s come 8n road or MTB flavour, I have some. Not sure if bb5s do or not but would assume so. I've seen avid v style brake levers marked as disc, always assumed that v versions worked with MTB calliper versions so not sure why they were marked specifically as disc but I'm sure there was method in it?

I bought some TRP Spykes by mistake. I had read somewhere that the Spyres were plastic (which they're not). So I got some flat bar brake levers for road bikes, and The MTB levrs on my XC bike were SRAM 9.0 which have Speed Dial adjustable ratio. I had BB7s with metal pads already, and I swapped Spyres, Spykes, and lvers back and forth. I was testing to see if I wanted TRP on my Ebike. The BB7s are still there, but I didn't put them back on the XC bike. The Spykes with Speed Dial levers are ok for the pedal bike. But the BB&s have a few features the TRP brakes don't.
