cant see why they banned this advert

glad they banned it. all that climate change is utter rubbish. Public transport is shit. Long live the car.

terrible ads and a pointless cause.

if the government really wanted to reduce emissions and polutions they would

The real issue is resources not climate change. We are using up the planets resources at such a rate that they are not being renewed naturally.

In Britain we throw away 33% of all food bought, yes 1 in every 3 bags of food bought WTF!! There are billions of people going hungry every night and the British throw something because of a "sell by" or "best before" date which means bugger all, its only the "Use by" they should pay attention to and even that is arbitrary.
The only thing thrown in our house is veg peelings, bones, egg shells etc and that goes in the composter.

CO2 emissions and Climate change are debatable and many people disagree with it, but it's easily quantifiable and hence taxable, even if the cause of extra CO2 may or may not be wrong. If the argument was over resources then nobody can disagree and we may actually make some real differences to peoples lives.

Blimey that was a rant.

33% of all food  No wonder Tesco's are doing so well :?

Actulaay its worse than that.

I used to work for a food company.
If we included our losses in the factory and the food that goes out of date in our coldstore and on the supermarket, plus what gets thrown out at home, the figure is less than 10 %, On a good day.

This was unfinished so I think +1 for me.

They (the goverment) rant and rave at us...have a look at the fuel and resources they waste in pointless wars and various other stupid lost causes , but they cant really tax themselves now can they  so they use the old "look at the polar beer dying out" argument so that the bleeding heart types can feel better about their wasteful lives by recycling their champagne bottles............Pathetic,If you have a look at the last 100,000 years this has happened over and over again and I dare say that it was not caused by petrol etc.the last time the ice caps melted now was it.............it is just an excuse to tax people to death that is all.
