No there is nothing about that headset on the internet AT ALL!
I bought mine on London in 1995 and I have never seen another one - and I have seen a LOT of headsets in my life.
And I know that it was German.
Mine had CONTAX written on it in fine black lettering - is yours the same?

That’s the problem, no inscription (engrave nothing) on the headset ... but small holes on the top ...

Love it! In such good shape too, glad you tracked down some crank dust caps , all about the details. I have a 93' M800, one of favorite rides, I've rescued three other early fully rigid 90s C-dales since I built it up, can't go wrong with these beauties!

Does it have needle bearings? It has similarities to a Primax headset. I am sure I have seen some Contax ones come up for sale at some point .... I don't think I bought one, but I will check my spares.

Does anyone know any information on the colour of this model, specifically the blue, I am trying to restore a very tired one and it unfortunately needs a respect
