Any people over here who can tell me more about this frameset?

Foto-XOGTXZSJ.jpg

I know it was sold as frmae only!

Reason why I want to know?

this frame has been stored and I want to sell it.

Including:
Pepperoni forks, rare 1 1/4" XTR headset and Girvin flexstem.

Interested? Let me know.

Frameset is in a used condition, some scratches and paintchips usal to cannondale.

1992 M700

That's a 1992 M700 frame OR a non-id frameset from Cannondale. Since it doesn't have Mountain 700 logo on toptube it might be the latter option.

I had a similar M700 BITD. The colour is "Blue/Black Hyper-highlight". I loved the paintjob and still do!

I think that's a 20" frame.

Look on the inside of the left seatstay and there should be a serial number...they're hard to read cos they're made up of dots but a bunch of numbers should be visible.....then go here: http://www.vintagecannondale.com/

This site will ID your frame or failing that an email from the guy that runs it will usually get a swift reply and a knowledgeable answer :D

in the 1992 brochure it could be an M700 or M800, both were available in Blue Pearl Hyper-Highlight

Allright then, thanks for identifying the frame. There is no type on the frametube so it should be a fram-only purchase bitd.

The framenumber sais:
51 cm (c-t)
08-11-91 date of birth
0064 sequense number.

Anyone knows what I could ask for it. It's tall enough for me to ride it myself but having 5 mountainbikes allready I dont have any place left.

Cheers,
Martin

These can fetch quite good money, especially if your are including the Pepperoni...I have seen them go between £60 and £120 on eBay but it depends on the the demand I guess
